Elektra/Rhino Vinyl annonced today, the October 26th release of a limited, numbered Metallica box set containing expanded versions of the group's first four LPs: Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets and And Justice For All, plus the long-out-of-print Garage Days Re-Revisited EP and Creeping Death picture disc previously unavailable in the United States.
Each of the four original LPs has been expanded to a 2 LP set with new gatefold jackets. All but the picture disc have been pressed on 180g vinyl from lacquers cut by rock cutting specialist George Marino at Sterling Sound. The 43 song set arrives in store and online at www.rhino.com October 26th.
Only 5000 copies of the numbered box set will be produced.
