WHAT IS THE UP-1280DVI?

The UP-1280DVI is first and foremost an advanced video upconverter. What does that mean? Essentially it means that for a minimal investment you get a much clearer, sharper picture with greatly increased color quality and picture details!

The UP-1280DVI accepts and switches between up to three interlaced video inputs and outputs a flicker-free progressive video signal at any resolution you choose, up to 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) and 720p / 1080i (HDTV). The DVI output can be used parallel with the RGB output, greatly increasing the compatibility of the unit! This is important for you and your customers not only because of the drastic increase in picture quality which the UP-1280DVI provides, but also because there are a multitude of displays and projectors on the market today, all requiring a different input resolution in order to output the best possible signal. In techie jargon this is called "native resolution". If the video source going to a particular projector or display is not at the native resolution of that display unit, then the picture shown will be less than optimal. The UP-1280DVI gets this job done!
