Unique Sony function for high Contrast Ratio. Controls the lamp
wattage and Iris. The user can select this in the menu and therefore
there are two values for the Contrast Ratio and four for the

which where used in VW12 as well. Thanks to these the HS20 achieves a

6. New I/P Converter
This allows not only video signal I/P conversion but also HD signal
I/P conversion. As a result HS20 reproduces more detail and smooth HD
signal.
7. 12 bit Panel Driver
Full digital with a 12 bit panel driver (HS10 was 10 bit). This
ensures a 4x improved Brightness Resolution, improved diagonal line
reproduction and sharpness.
8. Free ? Image Director? software
Downloadable from your local www-site for high-end users satisfaction
used for Gamma control settings.
9. New Double Adjuster
In addition the HS20 has a sub adjuster for more precise settings
(5mm range)
