имеется в виду Bravo D1 - плейер на сигма 8500 с выходом DVI - цена 200 долларов ,пересылка по USA 2 дня Have the Bravo hooked up to my 60" Grand Wega II via DVI @ 1080i at the moment because I just realized that I don't have the service menu tweaks set for 720p input (my samsung TS160 sends HD to the GWII via DVI at 1080i). Initial feelings are -- TERRIFIC! I've taken quick looks at Harry Potter COS, Star Trek Insurrection (as suggested here) and now Stargate Ultimate Edition. Up until now, I've been using a Philips DVD-R1000 DVD+RW recorder connected via Progressive Component to the GWII - which I have always been impressed with in terms of it's quality. I'm amazed at how much more of a "Film" like appearance I am getting. Although the image seems smoother (a little less sharpness) - I am definately seeing much less grain from these 3 DVD's. Also - I am now straining to see mpeg artifacts whereas before they were apparent in certain scenes on these 3 dvd's. I have calibrated my GWII with UMR's tweaks (both user and service menu) for S-Video, Progressive Component and 1080i DVI - so I am going for a true comparison here. My initial recommendation -- for $200, I say DON'T EVEN HESITATE - for those of you with HDCP DVI capable TV's!!! More to come as I audition more DVD's -- especially BLADE, which I always have considered a reference DVD because of it's outstanding picture quality. I have a pretty good DVD library of about 150 movies, so I am willing to give my opinion to requests from fellow readers. More to come.... Aaron Updates: - Looking at more of Stargate UE, the picture especially of closeups of peoples faces are truly blemish free -- whereas before I definately saw grain. - Star Wars II AOTC -- STUNNING STUNNING!!!! - Blade - Just wonderful, reference level DVD итог - внешние скалеры за 5 к нынче в жопе , интересно с компом сравнить |
