After the "standing into the Shadows, rather unknown in Germany, OF Motown" will publish Artisan also one now its "cash Cows" with an additional HDTV version on DVD: The "extremes edition" of terminator 2, planned in the USA for 3 June, is to contain the film in the Windows Media 9-Format with HDTV dissolution and also 5.1-Surround-Ton offer, which might be stored however not Dolby digital 5,1 but Microsofts own 5.1-Format for Windows Media 9. Artisan made this so far not yet correctly public. The information one can however already infer from the information, which already received some dealers. While the film will be present in the normal NT sports club data processing D-C version as longer "Extended CUT", it concerns with the Windows Media 9-Version playable on the PC the regular cinema version. For "terminator 2" a new hp master was made already some time ago, whatever formed the basis for the publication as D-theatre Tape with 1080i-Aufloesung. From place and Performancgruenden one will find a 720p-Fassung supposed on the "extremes edition" however only, what however represents the limit of the physical dissolution with the commercial DLP projectors in the upper price segment momentarily still. Compared with others already than D-theatre-version in the USA available HDTV films that looks in the meantime already more than ten years old "terminator 2" also in HDTV still relatively more unspektakulaer. Naturally above all Microsoft profits from the support by Artisan. Because so far it gives except few demo tie-clips hardly a correct video material in Windows Media 9 with HDTV dissolution. And the chances of Microsoft to be able become to put in a word with the specification of a new DVD standard for HDTV generally as very small estimated.
