Love him or loathe him, there's no denying that Oliver Stone has made some pretty unforgettable movies in his time - so finding a great bunch of them together in a boxset due for launch in the autumn sounds like one of the best DVD ideas yet, if you ask me.

So many titles are included in the set that the full list is not yet confirmed, but titles we do know about are JFK, Heaven And Earth, Born On The Fourth Of July, Talk Radio, Wall Street, Nixon, The Doors, U-Turn, and Any Given Sunday. Each disc looks set to feature extensive supplemental material (some of which is detailed below) and the set will also include a special documentary, Oliver Stone's America, by Charles Kiselyak.

Perhaps the best-sounding disc in the set is JFK, which in itself comes over two discs and features a 200-minute director's cut, with 190 minutes of video on the second disc including more than 45 minutes of deleted scenes, a documentary, and a new online link to JFK documents through director Oliver Stone's Web site.

Any Given Sunday also sounds pretty hot. Again it's a double-disc set, featuring an audio commentary by director Oliver Stone and Jamie Foxx; extended and deleted scenes; interactive dailies and rough cuts of scenes with alternate music; script-to-scene showing script with Stone's notes and scenes before CGI effects; and an HBO special on the film.

Heaven And Earth will carry 50 minutes of deleted footage, while all the other titles mentioned will carry commentaries by Stone, with Michael Douglas joining him to talk us through Wall Street
