Интересно посмотреть скрипт этого диска и понять как они это сделали....

I received a call this week from a customer owning an SD220 v1.4 (multiregion via update disc) which won't play an RCE disc called 'The New Guy' - it displays the map.

I ordered the disc, and sure enough, it won't play although other RCE discs do.

Does anyone have a R1 virgin firmware file for this player which they can upload to the ftp?

Cheers,
Andrew

1.)Put a non RCE region 1 disc in first, play it for a few seconds.
2.)swap the disc for "The New Guy". This should resolve the problem.

Or try this method:
Put the disc in, wait for "map of the world"

Press MEMORY, then enter TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1 then press PLAY

Finally press CLEAR

Worked for me on a Toshiba SD-3109!

I can confirm today we tried THE NEW GUY on a Toshiba SD-120, firmware version 1.400

Even though this machine could play other RCE discs (e.g. Hollow Man, Patriot and Knights Tale) it would not play THE NEW GUY.

The TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1 hack also did not work. It looks like this new RCE disc is not compatible with these machines.
