The Vaddis V DVD decoder is a DVD Multimedia Processor combining advanced DVD playback capability with Web Browsing and flexible video mixing capabilities for creating leading-edge consumer audio/video products. With its integrated 135 MHz MIPS RISC CPU, 135 MHz Audio DSP, MPEG-2 Video Decoder, and Graphics Processor, it brings together superb Video and Audio processing and high-quality Web Browsing, to a fully-integrated display. The unified memory architecture allows for flexibility in and cost-effective BOM for convergence products. Through the StandardPlus design methodology, Zoran is building upon the standard to provide leading-edge capabilities for advanced DVD players and audio/video appliances. In addition, it has the ability to take advantage of Zoran's extensive SiliconSoftware library, giving it access to a wide variety of innovative audio algorithms. The Vaddis V is the ideal solution for DVD, iDVD, Personal Video Recorder (PVR), DVD Recording, and Video-On-Demand products.
