CTS Announces TOOTSIE - by TBP staff
6:03 pm PST - On May 29, 2001, Columbia TriStar will end it's two and a half year moritorium (rhymes with "sanitorium") on the film TOOTSIE and release it on DVD for the first time, along with a re-issue on VHS. This is great news. TOOTSIE is a terrific film.

SYNOPSIS
Michael Dorsey (Hoffman) is desperate; he can't find a job. That is, until he gets a female role in a soap opera and becomes very famous. Of course, nobody knows that this new television star is a man... But, after a while, he falls in love with the leading actress of the series (Lange), and here is the big problem: how can he express his feelings, since she thinks that Michael is a woman?
